Om Vajra Sattwa Hung

Deity:

Vajrasattva

Usage:

Mental clarity

Meaning:

Tibetan Buddhist. The chant is a thought form producing mental clarity. Vajrasattva's name in Tibetan is Dorge Sempa. It means "diamond being". He represents the innate purity of the mind.

The most distinctive symbols associated with Vajrasattva are his bell and vijra (or thunderbolt). The bell represents wisdom, and the vajra represents the Bodhisattva's upaya, or his skill in liberating beings by means of compassion.

Vajrasattva is generally white in color, representing his purity. He is eternally young, existing outside of time and space. Chanting this mantra stimulates, through its resonance, the attributes of clarity and purification of mind and emotions to the practitioner.

Surround yourself with white light, above and below. Negative thoughts are abolished. They cannot exist in this resonant environment.
